One-year position in Christianity of the Global South — Department of Theology, Valparaiso University
The Department of Theology announces a search for a one-year position in Christianity of the Global South at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor to begin in Fall 2015. Ph.D. preferred, but A.B.D. candidates near completion will be considered. Candidates should have either an African or Latin American expertise and be conversant in how Christianity has interacted with other religious traditions and movements in the global south. Courses to be taught are chiefly at the undergraduate level and will include the department’s required general education course, “The Christian Tradition,” and, possibly, the University’s first-year humanities sequence.
