What happens when cultural, social, political, economic, physical and other structures and practices fall apart through degeneration or disuse? Decay implies disintegration and decline, but it can also lead to regeneration and reform. We welcome panels that explore this theme, its allies and opposite in relation to a wide variety of methodologies, locations, periods, texts, and traditions. We also encourage proposal submissions that do not address the conference theme.
Please note: Preconference Submissions are open today with an earlier deadline of Tuesday, March 1. Please read information on preconference submissions posted to the website before completing your proposal. All other submission types (panel, roundtable, single paper) will be open Monday, February 15, and due Friday, April 1.
If you have previously accessed the conference website you may need to refresh your cache or history to display the most recent updates to the site. For most browsers, hold the Shift key and click the Refresh button on your browser.
