Research Fellow (GLIMER) — University of Edinburgh

Please find below details of a Research Fellowship at Edinburgh University attached to the ‘Governance and Local Integration of Migrants and Europe’s Refugees’ (GLIMER) project, to carry out fieldwork in Glasgow, collaborating with researchers in Glasgow, Malmo, Nicosia and Calabria: http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/BCS421/research-fellow-glimer/

Candidates should have theoretical and practical knowledge in qualitative methodologies (broadly conceived), or collaborative action research, or practice-led inquiry; knowledge of current issues in at least one of the areas of migration policy, citizenship studies, urban studies, ethnic and racial studies; a PhD in a related field; and strong planning, organisation, facilitation and communication skills.

This is a full time (35 hours) fixed term for 36 months post available from 1 September 2017.

Salary: £32,004 – £38,183 per annum
