ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY – CALL FOR APPLICATIONS AND NOMINATIONS
DIRECTOR, GRADUATE CENTRE FOR THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION
The position of Director of the Toronto School of Theology’s Graduate Centre for Theological Studies (GCTS) will be open as of July 1, 2018. The term of Dr. Jaroslav Skira, the current Director, ends on June 30, 2018, and he is not seeking reappointment.

According to the Constitution of the GCTS, “The Director is the Chief Academic Officer of TST’s graduate (AD) programs and has general responsibility and authority for the administration of the GCTS and quality assurance of its graduate programs, consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of the Academic Council; represents TST in respect of its graduate programs to the University of Toronto; and provides a vision for excellence and leadership in the research, teaching, and study of theological subjects at a graduate level.” The Constitution and Bylaws of the GCTS and a full job description are available upon request.
The position is open to (1) professors at member colleges of the TST who are full members of the GCTS, and (2) professors at the University of Toronto who are full members of the School of Graduate Studies, and who have (or will have) an appointment at a TST member college, which may be a status-only appointment.
The appointment is made by the TST Board of Trustees on the recommendation of the TST Director and with the approval of the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies of the University of Toronto.
Consideration of applications will begin on April 18, 2018, and will continue until the position is filled.
