The Position
The Department of History at Saint Mary’s University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level in the History of Race and Racism in the United States. In addition to being able to offer survey courses in US history, the ability to teach courses dealing with the Black experience will be considered an asset. Candidates are encouraged to identify how their scholarly interests would complement our department’s strengths in teaching and research. The appointment will commence on July l, 2020.
