Here’s how to digitally access the journal for those who pay for the journal as members of the Canadian Society for the Study of Religion.
If you are paid members of the CSSR, you should already have digital access to the complete journal via the Canadian Corporation for Studies in Religion’s website.
To log in to your subscription to Studies in Religion:
1. Click on the green ‘LOG IN’ button.
2. When prompted, enter your email address (CSSR Membership log-in)
3. Set your password using the ‘Reset password’ option.
Students, why join us?
Students are warmly invited to join the (CSSR/SCÉR)!
- Student members have an opportunity to participate in our Annual Meeting at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences and present their work, whether it be on panels or roundtables.
- Attend and meet other students at the Student Luncheon held every year in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting
- Student members receive, and are encouraged to write reviews for Studies in Religion/ Sciences Religieuses (SR/SR)
- We offer several opportunities for funding including our annual student contests with monetary prizes
- Students receive a discounted CSSR/SCÉR membership rate.
- Meet scholars whose work you admire at the President’s Reception, a chance for student members to make contacts and research connections.
- We aim to have graduate student representatives from various graduate programs in religious studies to serve as ambassadors for the CSSR/SCÉR, the perfect opportunity for professional development and leadership.
Membership Fees
CSSR offers several different Memberships with yearly rates, as follows:
A. Regular Member + Receiving a copy of Studies in Religion via CSSR – $100.00/year
B. Associate Member (Retired/Part-Time) + Receiving a copy of Studies in Religion via CSSR – $60.00/year
C. Associate Member + Receiving a copy of Studies in Religion through another society – $55.00/year
D. Student Member + Receiving a copy of Studies in Religion via CSSR – $50.00/year
E. Student Member + Receiving a copy of Studies in Religion through another society – $30.00/year
- All membership fees are in CAD dollars.
- You must have confirmation of an up-to-date paid CSSR Membership in order to submit papers to the CSSR Annual Meeting and Conference.
- At this time, payment of CSSR Memberships can be made by e-transfer from Canadian banking institutions ONLY.
