The Department of Religion and Culture at the University of Winnipeg is known for interdisciplinary teaching and research that explores diverse religious traditions, practices, and narratives from Turtle Island and across the globe. We examine religion in relation to decolonization and power, Indigenization and race, gender and sexuality, land and ecology, and the self in community, fostering critical scholarship and meaningful dialogue.
