The 49th Annual Conference on South Asia - to be held October 15th-18th, 2020 at the Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor's Club - invites proposals for Symposia (formerly known as PreConference), Panels, Round Tables, Single Papers, and Film Screenings.

This year, the Conference theme is Resistance, and we encourage proposals relating to all countries of South Asia in a wide variety of disciplines.

OPEN CALL FOR PAPERS: The Journal of Religion and Culture.

The Journal of Religion and Culture (JRC) is seeking papers related to the social scientific study of religion and/or culture for its upcoming 29th edition. We welcome papers from any discipline and that make use of any theoretical approach. Explorations of diverse methodological approaches, historical periods, traditions, and geographic locations are strongly encouraged. We are interested in research that challenges boundaries and exhibits a novel perspective, methodology and/or interpretation.
