Applications are invited for a full-time position, with a contract of up to 24 months, starting 1 October 2017. The annual salary is 19,200 EUR (before taxes) plus additional 800 EUR for travel-related expenses.
The successful candidate will contribute to research on migration issues and their linkages to national security. The candidate will be expected to provide occasional help with teaching and student consultations as well.
Your qualifications:
A doctoral degree in social sciences with the focus on migration studies
At least two publications in peer reviewed journals
Knowledge of theoretical and empirical debates in the area of migration, demography and population studies
English language proficiency; additional language skills related to the region are a plus
Applicants must have received the PhD no more than five years before the start date of the fellowship
