The University of Northern British Columbia invites applications for a Term Position in the History Department at the rank of Assistant professor, with proposed starting date of July 1, 2020. The UNBC History Department offers BA, BA Honors, and MA Programs. The Successful candidate will be required to teach an introductory course in World History since 1550, survey courses in Canadian History, and courses suited to the research specializations of that successful candidate.
Applicants for this position should hold a Ph.D. and have a growing record of scholarly activity, as well as present evidence of a record and commitment towards teaching excellence. For this position, we seek an individual with particular ability to situate the history of Canada in global context.
