Lectures in Catholic Experience, St. Jerome’s University, Waterloo

 In All, Events

Attached here is the brochure for this year’s Lectures in Catholic Experience.
Please feel free to forward the brochure to anyone that you think would be interested in our lectures.

The theme for this year’s series is, “Vatican II: envisioning the next 50 years.”
We have national and international speakers who will help us to look at the signs of our own times: the plight of migrants, human rights, Jewish-Christian relations, the ‘Arab Awakening,’ ecological justice, human health, and to individuals who witness to the role of religion in politics and the challenges of a life of faith.

On October 5, our first speaker is Dr. Daniel Groody, CSC, Director of the Center for Latino Spirituality and Culture at the University of Notre Dame.
Dr. Groody will give the Teresa Dease lecture entitled, “A pilgrim people, a human journey: theological perspectives on migration and Eucharist.”

Thank you very much,
Cristina
