A one-year position that might be of interest:

The University of Tennessee, Department of Religious Studies, invites applications for a one-year full-time lecturer in the field of religion and science to begin August 2012. The position requires teaching a 4-4 course load. PhD and teaching experience are preferred, but ABDs in the final stages of completing their dissertations will be considered. Applicants may work on any religious tradition or topic within the field of religion and science, including environmental ethics, religion and nature, cultural studies of science, evolutionary biology, cognitive studies, and current debates about religion and science. Preferred applicants will be trained in religious studies and be able to teach introductory courses in the field.
