Mazursky Student Support Fund for Jewish Studies: Applications due October 15

** Please forward to any students who might be interested in this funding opportunity. **

The Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies is now accepting applications for travel and research funding through the Mazursky Student Support Fund.

Through the Charles and Gayle Mazursky Student Support Fund, the Center for Jewish Studies is able to offer a number of grants for research-related travel, including travel to resources (e.g., archives, oral history interviews, etc.), other venues essential for carrying out work on an undergraduate or graduate thesis, or travel to professional conferences. Funds may also be used for research materials, but not books or related materials for courses. Mazursky grants will typically amount to $500 for domestic travel and $800 for international travel, but more or less may be awarded at the discretion of the scholarships committee.

Deadline: October 15, 2012

Eligibility: Both undergraduates and graduate students are eligible to apply.

Note: Mazursky proposals are reviewed biannually, with applications due in mid-October and late March. Students applying for summer funding are asked to wait until the March 2012 deadline.
