Information about CSSR membership fees

 

Paid Members of the CSSR:

  • Receive the journal Studies in Religion (SR) / Sciences Religieuses (SR)StudiesInReligion
  • May participate in the Annual Conference, and the Annual General Meeting
  • May create a CSSR member profile, as well as search for other members’ profiles
  • May access members-only CSSR features such as media (image, video and conference galleries), and other resources (job postings, discussion forums)

The peer-reviewed journal Studies in Religion has gone virtual!

Here are the details about how to digitally access the journal in 2022 for those of you who pay for the journal as members of the Canadian Society for the Study of Religion (CSSR).

If you were paid members of the CSSR for the calendar year 2021, then you should already have digital access to the complete journal via the Canadian Corporation for Studies in Religion’s website: https://ccsr.ca/en/

On this webpage, first click on the green ‘Log in’ button.

Then, when prompted, enter your e-mail address (your same e-mail used with the CSSR).

If it is your first time logging on, then you will also have to set your password using the ‘Reset password’ option.

If you were not a paid member of the CSSR for 2021, but are for 2022 and pay before the 15th of April 2022, then you will have digital access to Studies in Religion as of May 15th, 2022 for one complete year (until May 2023). As of the 15th of May 2022, you can access the journal the same way as described above.

Those CSSR members who pay for 2022 membership after the 15th of April 2022 will not have access to Studies in Religion for the calendar year. Consequently, if you are paying for CSSR associate or student membership after the 15th of April 2022, do NOT select the ‘receive Studies in Religion through the CSSR’ payment options.
