Assistant Professorship in Islam, Aarhus University

The Department of Culture and Society at the Faculty of Arts, Aarhus University invites applications for an assistant professorship in Islam in the section for the Study of Religion. This is not the same position as the Assistant or Associate Professor in Arab and Islamic Studies announced recently: it is a separate, additional position. It is a three-year fixed-term appointment with the possibility of re-appointment to the position of associate professor. We are seeking a dedicated candidate that will contribute to develop research and teaching in Islam at the. We are interested in a candidate with a strong research profile in the study of Islam.
