Linda F. Dietz Graduate Essay Prize ($500 & Publication) — Canadian Journal of History/Annales canadiennes d’histoire

 In All, Graduate Students

Dear Canadian Society for the Study of Religion Staff and Volunteers,

We’re looking for ways to promote the Linda F. Dietz Graduate Essay Prize at Congress 2016, and we thought perhaps your panels might offer us that opportunity. Each year the Canadian Journal of History/Annales canadiennes d’histoire offers $500 and publication alongside articles by established historians. In 2015 Cheryl Thompson won with her piece, “Cultivating Narratives of Race, Faith, and Community: The Dawn of Tomorrow, 1923-1971.” Canadian graduate students are encouraged to submit essays in either English or French on any facet of history. The best submissions undergo double-blind peer review and are judged by the CJH/ACH editor.

Warm regards,
Michelle Desveaux
