Please find attached (click to download PDF) the CFP for the inaugural print and online issue of Panic at the Discourse: An Interdisciplinary Journal.

Our collective invites papers from graduate students, early-career professionals, and independent scholars, that engage with and explore the issue’s theme: Superheroes in Contemporary Culture. Priority will be given to interdisciplinary intellectual investigations into existing social structures and groups, cultural practices, and forms of knowledge and their production. In particular, Panic seeks to support new and innovative ways of theorizing that do not necessarily fit within traditional frameworks.

The submission deadline is February 15, 2019.
