VOLUNTEER TERM

1 Academic Year, with a minimal time commitment

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Receive emails from the graduate student-at-large with calls for papers, funding opportunities, job postings, paper competitions etc. and ensure that the student body in your department and other relevant networks receive the information (via your administrative assistants or through the appropriate listservs).

WHY THIS POSITION MAY BE OF INTEREST

The CSSR is one of the largest academic Canadian societies oriented to the scholarly study of religion. In addition to our annual that hosts panels, round tables, and professionalization luncheons, the CSSR offers undergraduate and graduate funding opportunities related to conference travel and paper presentations, as well as the opportunity to write/review for the scholarly journal Studies in Religion/Sciences Religieuses.

The role of Student Ambassador is an excellent way to get involved with the organization with a minimal time commitment.

GET INVOLVED

Please email the Graduate Student Member-at-Large, Michael Gillingham (cssrstudents@gmail.com) for more information. Positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
