Abstract: All student members of the CSSR/SCÉR are invited to attend the Graduate Student Luncheon, where Dr. Pamela Klassen (University of Toronto) will be leading a conversation on academic writing. Writing is at the core of our work as graduate students in the humanities and we have an ever-expanding range of media through which we might—and must!—put our thoughts down in words: term papers for coursework, academic publications, public blogs, digital humanities projects, Twitter, and of course, our dissertations. Drawing on her own diverse writing experiences, Dr. Klassen will share insights to help us think about where and when we should write and how we can write effectively in various genres and for different audiences. Light lunch is provided.
The CSSR Call for Papers deadline has been extended to December 20th, 2018.
Please note that in order to use the SUNFLOWER paper submissions system you must have a profile created on the CSSR website as they are not automatically created for you (please allow 24 hrs before your member profile has been approved)
When submitting presenter names into the SUNFLOWER system, as you begin typing you will notice the system starts to find matches in our database so please choose from among the names provided there, otherwise the system does not accept it.
If you are receiving a “403 Error” please try submitting from a different IP Address.
Dear CSSR Members,
