FUNDED PHD STUDENTSHIP IN SOCIAL FUTURES AT LANCASTER UNIVERSITY

Lancaster University is seeking exceptional people to help set up and develop a major new Institute for Social Futures, co-directed by Professors John Urry and Linda Woodhead. This interdisciplinary Institute is concerned with examining the nature of multiple, complex and interdependent social futures.

Applications are invited for a funded full-time PhD studentship to start October 2015, which will last for 3 years. The candidate will have a Masters degree in a relevant discipline and develop a topic relevant to ‘social futures’. You will be supervised by two relevant colleagues and will be based in one or more departments.
