Food and Food Studies Exploration Gallery — Call for Submissions

The Canadian Association for Food Studies is hosting an event entitled “Food and Food Studies Exploration Gallery” during Congress 2012, and has asked us to forward a Call for Submissions on their behalf. Call for submissions download here.

Below is a brief description of the event as forwarded by the CAFS:

“The Canadian Association for Food Studies invites all Congress 2012 participants to submit creative works for our Food and Food Studies Exploration Gallery. This space, which will be open during the CAFS conference to all Congress attendees, is conceived as a means to examine food and food issues through alternative forms, including visual and audio media, and supports CAFS’ aim to engage with a broad range of cross-disciplinary practices. L’association canadienne des études sur l’alimentation invite tous les participants au Congrès 2012 à soumettre des oeuvres créatives pour notre Salle d’exposition sur l’alimentation et les études alimentaires. Cette espace sera ouvert durant l’assemblée ACEA et à toute la communauté du Congrès. Elle est conçue comme opportunité d’examiner les enjeux de l’alimentation à travers divers canaux, incluant les médias auditifs et visuels. L’exposition supporte l’engagement d’une gamme de pratiques interdisciplinaires que prône l’ACEA.
