GRADUATE STUDENT LUNCHEON

Dr. Pamela Klassen (University of Toronto) will be leading us in a conversation about academic writing for graduate students
Abstract: All student members of the CSSR/SCÉR are invited to attend the Graduate Student Luncheon, where Dr. Pamela Klassen (University of Toronto) will be leading a conversation on academic writing. Writing is at the core of our work as graduate students in the humanities and we have an ever-expanding range of media through which we might—and must!—put our thoughts down in words: term papers for coursework, academic publications, public blogs, digital humanities projects, Twitter, and of course, our dissertations. Drawing on her own diverse writing experiences, Dr. Klassen will share insights to help us think about where and when we should write and how we can write effectively in various genres and for different audiences. Light lunch is provided.
